I am going to rate my experiment as a moderate success.
In other news, we will be rerunning Story Wars at Intercon in the Friday night slot. The other game we were thinking of writing doesn't fit Intercon that well, so we decided to do a rerun this year instead. Story Wars was amazingly popular last time and somehow generated a crazy thread of emails after the con that resulted in my coming home one day to find something like 60 messages in my in box and not knowing what the hell happened.
Having now seen the Intercon schedule, I have some ideas as to what I want to play in each slot.
Obviously, Friday night I'm running Story Wars, along with gower and jingsaw.
Saturday morning - Super Villain Academy is probably my first choice for this slot. 36 Degrees is probably my second choice. Collision Imminent would be high on my list for this slot if I hadn't played the game twice already, once as crew and once as horde.
Saturday afternoon - Either Oz or Survivors of the Naronic. Both are interesting, so it's a toss up. Survivors may have the edge here just because it's coming from England and less likely to run again in the area. Then again, Oz has also run numerous times before, so it could hit retirement as well. You never can tell. My decision could be made for me if signups fill one or the other on me first.
Saturday night - Like Putting a Leash on a Rocket Launcher. This one is my first choice mostly due to what I heard about the way some of the characters are being written. A number of them end up fitting into a certain kind of character type that I enjoy playing, so this game ends up being a must because of it. If the game fills before I get the chance to sign up, then my backup is Ghosts of Urquhart.
Sunday morning - Either 10 Bad Larps or Gm Space. I'm not sure which.
